Settlement

The purpose of the Language Training for Canada video is to raise newcomer awareness on the importance of official language skills for settlement in Canada. The video is aligned with the content in IRCC’s settlement guide, Welcome to Canada, and the intended audience includes those who have not yet arrived, as well as those already in Canada. The video encourages newcomers to get started on improving their language skills as soon as possible. Available in French and English and dubbed into Arabic in March 2016, the Language Training for Canada video is now available in Mandarin, Spanish, Hindi and Farsi.
