Workplace Meeting Skills
This 10 hour workshop discusses the types and purposes of meetings common in the Canadian workplace; tips and techniques for accurate note-taking; an examination of the role of recorder/secretary, as well as the documents needed for effective meetings; and practice in minute-taking at several different levels, from simple to complex.
Participants must attend all 10 hours to receive a certificate.
PRE-REQUISITE: The workshops will be open to learners with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 5 or higher in four skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, writing), or equivalent.
