Speaking Clearly (Pronunciation) Skills
Students learn techniques to improve their oral communication skills including the overall pronunciation and listening skills necessary to master the English Sound System.
Speaking Clearly (Pronunciation) Skills 1 students learn and practice pronunciation fundamentals: Canadian English vowel sounds, word stress, sentence stress, and thought groups.
Speaking Clearly (Pronunciation) Skills 2 builds and further develops the skills learned in Pronunciation Skills 1, plus vowel spellings, consonants, intonation, and emphasis. Students 'put it all' together by practicing pronunciation skills and strategies in real-life contexts. Students must take Speaking Clearly (Pronunciation) Skills 1 before they can take 2.
