Presentation Skills
Communication on the job requires you to inform, train, persuade, entertain, or sell to others. This can be stressful! Therefore, overcoming the challenges of speaking in public and delivering oral presentations is essential.
Presentation Skills 1 topics include: planning, structuring, and delivering the presentation, developing audience rapport, using visual aids, reducing anxiety, handling questions, and impromptu speaking. Pronunciation techniques useful for public speaking such as pacing, pausing, emphasis, stress, intonation and articulation are also addressed.
Presentation Skills 2 involves in-depth development and practice of the skills and strategies from Presentation Skills 1 through multiple presentation opportunities. Students must take Presentation Skills 1 before they can take 2.
