Test Taking Skills
This 10 hour workshop is intended for individuals of all trades and professions preparing for certification tests and exams in Canada.
Immigrants with international credentials often know and understand their work, but fail certification exams because of the way that test questions are worded or because they have studied without the focus required for a particular exam. (Example: not understanding questions with long sentences)
Please note: These workshops will not address the specific content area of these trades and professions nor CanTEST, TOEFL or TOEIC tests, but will prepare the test-taker for the kinds of certification exams commonly administered in Canada.
Participants must attend all 10 hours to receive a certificate.
CONTENT
- more about certification tests and exams in Canada
- strategies and techniques for studying and preparing for a test
